The approach
I use preservation techniques that work with your nose's own structure and, where it helps, ultrasound to shape bone precisely with less bruising. I always assess how you breathe, not only how it looks.
How long is the recovery?
It is day surgery: you usually sleep at home the same night. You wear a splint for the first week and, depending on how you heal, after one week you can be out and about again, with some swelling still. The nose keeps refining little by little, and the final result shows over the following months.
Ultrasonic or conventional rhinoplasty?
It depends on your nose. Ultrasound lets me shape bone with real precision in many cases; we decide together in consultation, based on your anatomy and what you're after.
Will it be obvious I've had surgery?
The whole point is that it isn't: a natural nose, in proportion with the rest of your face. Seeing the plan in 3D beforehand is what keeps us from overdoing it.
